Our Candles
Vintage Past
These vessels are truly vintage, their past lives include sugar bowls, powder dishes, candy bowls, spoon holders, vases, glasses, etc. That means they are pre-loved and may have some marks and blemishes. I believe this adds charm and character to these one-of-a-kind pieces. While I do try to provide some history on your vessel, please keep in mind that I am not an antique expert so I cannot guarantee any claims.
Vintage Present
Only the highest quality ingredients are used to craft our candles. We use organic coconut wax (see more below) that has excellent burn and aromatic qualities. Coconut wax is considered one of the best and healthiest types of wax to make candles because it doesn’t produce as much soot. It is cruelty-free, gluten-free, paraben-free, phthalate-free, non-toxic and renewable. We also use clean fragrance oils (unless otherwise noted) that are a cruelty free, non-toxic and phthalate free which makes them safer to burn around children and pets.
Vintage Future
The best part is that after your candle is gone you have a beautiful vessel to reuse as you please. Sugar bowl, candy/nut dish, trinket holder, the list goes on! Simply wait for your candle to cool then scrape out any remaining wax/wick with a spoon and wash with warm, soapy water. I can even refill your vessel with a new candle!
